Any suggestions on must-see stuff before I leave? Already passed a Ford GT since I’ve been here... so nice. I’m actually in the Sterling Heights/Utica area.

Woodward Ave, chill in royal oak for a while, Detroit’s zoo is pretty good. This may be a stretch, but even tracking to port Huron for half a day and back is awesome.

If you see smoke or hear loud popping noises, run in the opposite direction.

If he is in the Sterling Heights/Utica area, those are probably just fireworks.

Seriously though. Go to the Henry Ford Museum. Also, if you go to Greenfield Village (Same Complex) you can ride in an old Model T.
Also, Woodward in Royal Oak or Birmingham on Friday night is a good deal of fun too.

Henry Ford museum in Dearborn is cool to see.
Second detroit zoo, but if it’s super hot like it is this week, don’t bother. When its too hot the animals just sit around in the shade and chill.
If you are in downtown detroit, you gotta hit up Slows BBQ. AMAZING food and beer.
If you don’t go there, Vinsetta’s Garage on Woodward is also amazing and good sights.
How long are you here for? Dream cruise is coming up too

Everything this man said. If you’re here through the weekend, definitely go out to Woodward on friday night, then go to Lingenfelter Cars and Coffee saturday morning.

Man, I would love to go to all that, but unfortunately, I’m flying back out tomorrow evening, so I don’t have too much time. Basically the only time I’ll have to do anything is tonight.

I wish I was staying long enough to go to Lingenfelter C&C, but I’m heading out tomorrow night. Thanks for the tip though!

Unfortunately I won’t have time to go to the Ford Museum since they close tonight at 5pm and I’m leaving right after we finish up work tomorrow around 1ish. Cruising Woodward sounds fun, even in my rental corolla, and I may drive over to the test track and just check it out. Maybe something cool will be out and about.

There is a cruise-in at the Culver’s in Lake Orion, which is about half a mile north of the Palace of Auburn Hills on Lapeer Road.
Check out this website and you might find one that is closer to you:

I finished out my high school years near there. It’s gone way downhill in the last 15 years. There are some nice parts, but overall, it’s meh.
